Go, Slow, Whoa Feelings

We have lots of different kinds of feelings! Some are more comfortable than others. But it is important AND normal to have all kinds of feelings.

What are GO, SLOW & WHOA foods?

  • "Go" Feelings
    • are feelings that give us energy! Think happiness, joy or excitement. You might like to spend a lot of time in "Go" feelings.
  • "Slow" Feelings
    • are feelings that can sometimes slow our day down a bit. Maybe you are bored, confused, jealous or uninterested. 
  • "Whoa" Feelings
    • are feelings that we should stop and think about like anger, sadness or worry. These ARE NOT BAD  feelings to have! It is important to have these feelings. We should always try to IDENTIFY when we are having these feelings. We can't stop these feelings from happening, but we can control how we react to them.

Identifying what type of feelings we are having is a great way to slow down and think before we react! Remember whatever you are feeling is okay and important just always remember to make the best choice for you!
