One of the biggest life skills we learn is eating. Use this challenge to help build a successful lifelong habit of planning and preparing food.
It’s easy to pick up the ‘not so healthy foods’ when you don’t have a plan. We developed this fun sheet to help you understand what kinds of foods you are picking up at the store.
Here’s how you do it!:
- Write down what you need at the store before you go.
- We used the recipe for the Tropical Fruit & Nut Snack Mix and the Greek Yogurt.
- Take the list with you to Hy-Vee.
- Or order then on line for delivery or pick-up!
- Return home and make your healthy treats together.
