Hy-Vee’s team of registered dietitians is on a mission to provide nutrition education to the Title 1 schools in our territories and beyond! We believe that developing a healthy relationship with food can never start too early.
During this virtual field trip, we will discuss the food groups, what a balanced meal and snack looks like, play some games, and create a healthy snack together! Teachers will have access to worksheets that reinforce the education provided in the presentation.
Here’s how you do it
1. Join the KidsFit School Wellness Club
2. Select “yes” you teach at a Title 1 school
3. Register for Fuel Your School
4. Once registered, you’ll receive information on how to join the field trip live or watch the recording at a later date
The first 350 classrooms to register will receive supplies to make sunbutter roll ups! This will include one banana, one Mission tortilla, and one Sunbutter sample per student. These samples will be delivered to your school between March 20 - 23
